Filming in Lewisham
Lewisham contains some excellent locations, in the north of the borough is Deptford, with its bustling market, historic riverfront with old warehouses. as the land inclines, further south, there are excellent views looking north over the river and Docklands, from Telegraph Hill and Hilly Fields. Blackheath is a beautiful semi rural village with charming cafes and Victorian churches. The heath itself has great views, with tranquil ponds, vast open spaces and big Georgian houses around the edges![]() |

Quality locations
Perhaps the best thing about filming on location in Lewisham is the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The locations have not been overused. There are no low flying aircraft spoiling sound takes, and parking is generally available nearby. We now have a parking permit system where permits to park film vehicles can be e-mailed to you for use the next day.It is often possible to find houses that have not been modernized, with large gardens and decently proportioned rooms. There are historic buildings like Beckenham Place Park, and The Shipwrights Palace, and Ladywell Cemetery all of which are available for filming.
