Quality locations
Perhaps the best thing about filming on location in Lewisham is the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The locations have not been overused. There are no low flying aircraft spoiling sound takes, and parking is generally available nearby. We now have a parking permit system where permits to park film vehicles can be e-mailed to you for use the next day.
If you are looking for a location or you need some advice about where to shoot in Lewisham simply call the Lewisham film office on 0845 833 1523 and speak to someone who has in-depth knowledge of the borough.
Alternatively, browse the photo library at FilmFixer for a location that might suit your script. Click the logo below to see the locations.
If you find something you like, call the Lewisham film office to check availability. Income from location filming is ploughed back into the Lewisham Film Initiative to support local filmmakers and audiences.

Lewisham contains some excellent locations, in the north of the borough is Deptford, with its bustling market, historic riverfront with old warehouses. as the land inclines, further south, there are excellent views looking north over the river and Docklands, from Telegraph Hill and Hilly Fields. Blackheath, is a beautiful semi rural village with charming cafes and Victorian churches. The heath itself has great views, with tranquil ponds, vast open spaces and big Georgian houses around the edges
